Photographer answers
1/ I imagine a last day like a simple normal day with not that much action as we used to see in cinematography. Even the film Melancholia by Trier has an apocalypse action in the end - the storm. By my opinion humanity are not immortal and after us will come next type of life. Which kind of - could know only they)) But one thing i know for sure - planet Earth has much more secrets we can imagine. At least because of a fact from our level of consciousness and perception of information we can see only what we can see.

That's why in the editorial i tried as maximum as i can provide ironic side of life. Course when you are laughing you get stress go out. And i imagined how carefree would be just open and dress out all your wardrobe. No reason. Just for fun.

2/ It is not affect at all. We shoot it before the quarantine and locked down situation.

3/ As for the fashion on pictures, it was organised spontaneously from models own a a huge showroom of vintage clothes in our studio Ties Film. Jewellery products were not in the frame by chance, it was important for us to dilute themed and vintage costumes with modern clothes and designers.

4/ I was want to shoot something ironic and hope we did it. Before the shooting i had a mood board based on archive Jil Sander campaigns. There were criminal mood visualised by broken glass, noir low key light and cinematography backlight, full of worrying and voltage. By my easy going character i adapt this mood more towards mystery personage than criminal drama. I saw Daria as an experienced digital actress (she is an active woman and blogger) which could show that side of her personality which you expect or want to see. So for her was easy to play sexuality and enigma mood.

5/ Yeah, i found a snail hat on the showroom shelves haha She didn't like it but finally i made some shoots with it)) Sometimes your humour can't be supported by others. I am happy that we made cool story anyway.

Model answers
  1. How do you imagine the last day on earth ? - Maybe the world ending is happening rn and all of us just gonna die slowly because of the disease. But more romantic and beautiful if it's gonna happen fast. Almost in one moment - for example because of some astro body like in von Trier's Melancholy.( I know that I'm going to panic and cry in my mothers arms ) but if I was a book or movie character I can imagine myself standing on a cliff somewhere with a stunning view. Watching the asteroid getting bigger and bigger in the sky. And dressed in gorgeous dress of course! (Me not the asteroid). My face is brave sad and strong. And I just ready to receive my fate. And maybe I even laugh.
  2. What was the main styling direction? - I really like vintage clothes and I have a small collection of weird stuff that I found all over the world. Also we found some cool things in vintage shops of our friends. I like to look retro classy sexy and a bit weird so I brought this elf ears with me. I like to play that I'm a fairytale character when I wear it.
  3. Fascinating or funny moment - Shooting was very fun and full of inspiration. We just made different styles without any preparation and Olesya played with the lights. It was super cool to try different characters based on the stylings. For example I put on a red slutty skirt, Darina made me vulgar 90s make up, Olesya put a bloody hand print on my leg and I started to fell myself like a victim of a maniac. Or we found this pink cowboy hat and red evening dress and I started to feel myself like Madonna in early 2000s.
